You're curious about a Breathwork & Emotional Release session but have no idea what it is?
Imagine there’s a tool that allows you to feel everything you more or less successfully suppress in your daily life. A place where you feel completely safe and supported—a space where EVERYTHING can be expressed, even what is considered inappropriate or unacceptable in everyday life.
How often do you swallow your anger in your usual environment because it's not acceptable to raise your voice? When was the last time you cried extensively without calming yourself down after the first tear? Perhaps you also notice that you feel very little and wish to loosen the rigid corset of your emotions a bit.

My Personal Experience with Breathwork & Emotional Release Sessions
When I booked my first Breathwork & Emotional Release session about two years ago, I had no expectations - I was just curious about what would happen. And I believe that was exactly the right mindset. Because with Breathwork and Emotional Release, there’s only one guarantee: it will definitely be different from what you think. Suddenly, I found myself on a wild ride of long-suppressed emotions, ranging from my childhood sexual abuse to heart-wrenching tears and sobbing sounds, followed by an explosive scream attack. And I can tell you: it was incredibly liberating!
To be honest, I can't even remember the last time I screamed like that! My last memory of my anger is an outburst I had as a little girl, which my mother stopped - since then, anger has almost completely disappeared from my life. And in that Breathwork & Emotional Release session, I suddenly became Kali, the goddess of destruction. I literally roared like a lion - I didn’t recognize myself.
But I can tell you: I came out of that session as a different person. Finally, something was allowed to be freed that had wanted to come to light for so long.
Your Individual 1:1 Breathwork & Emotional Release Session
Not every Breathwork & Emotional Release session has to be loud and explosive. There are also very quiet, gentle sessions that can be just as powerful and transformative. Sometimes, it's the silent feelings that don't find space in everyday life. What fascinates me personally about Breathwork is that we outsmart our minds. You can think as much as you want about what might happen beforehand - but ultimately, it's not your mind but your body that decides. And that's where the magic begins, as I know all too well after many years of bodywork.
What wants to be revealed beyond your mind? No matter what it is - I am fully present by your side. I support the process with carefully selected music, my words, and my shamanic drum. You don't have to feel embarrassed here; you don't have to hold anything back. Whatever comes - believe me, I have experienced it myself, and not just once. That’s why I can create and hold safe spaces - and such a space is the fundamental prerequisite for any issues to surface.
How Does a Breathwork & Emotional Release Session Work?
At the beginning of the Breathwork & Emotional Release session, I conduct a preliminary discussion with you. During this time, I explain the process and answer any questions you may have. Together, we set an intention for your journey.
Then you lie down, and I guide you into the breathing technique. In the first 10 to 15 minutes, resistance often arises - deep breathing can be challenging, and it’s not uncommon to have doubts about whether you can make it through the hour. But don't worry, I am by your side to help you overcome this completely normal phase.
After a while, you will notice that you are no longer breathing consciously - your body takes over the rhythm of your breath. From this point on, things get exciting, as deeper processes can begin to emerge. Allow your breath to take control and guide the healing process for you.
It’s important not to distract yourself too early or start moving, as this could interrupt your inner protective mechanisms and prevent deeper processes from unfolding. It’s advisable to spend at least 20 to 30 minutes “just” breathing before the more intense experiences begin. I will accompany you during this time as the guardian of time.
The carefully selected music supports you on your journey. As your Breathwork & Emotional Release session reaches its peak, your breath will gradually become calmer, and your body will relax.
Before the Breathwork & Emotional Release session ends, there will be an extended closing relaxation. This part is particularly important for your body and nervous system to integrate the released emotions.
The pure Breathwork & Emotional Release session lasts about an hour, with additional time for a pre- and post-discussion.
What Can You Experience in a Breathwork & Emotional Release Session?
Physical reactions such as tension or tetany in various areas
Reliving traumatic experiences
Returning to early childhood, birth, or even prenatal events
The resurgence of strong emotions, both positive and negative
Memories of your own birth
Experiences from past lives
Access to mystical states, leading to a complete dissolution of the sense of self
A deep feeling of connection and oneness with everything that exists
A small note about the second point:
For me personally, Breathwork & Emotional Release sessions are the perfect complement to trauma therapy that is taking place simultaneously. If you're unsure whether this is right for you, be sure to discuss it with your therapist in advance.
Breathwork has helped me access deeply rooted feelings that I probably would never have reached without this technique. Unfortunately, we need to access these feelings on a physical level if we truly want to create change - even if that can be frightening at first.
Purely cognitive changes are often not enough for certain issues because everything we have experienced is stored in our bodies. Only when we physically address these issues can true peace settle in our nervous system.
My many years of experience in bodywork have shown me that our system never overwhelms us. It only reveals as much as your body and nervous system can process in that moment.
Please note that I am not a trauma therapist, and participation in a Breathwork & Emotional Release session is at your own risk.
Key Factors for a Successful Breathwork & Emotional Release Session
There are several key factors you should consider during a Breathwork & Emotional Release session, as they are crucial for your success:
Letting Go
One of the central principles is conscious letting go. Everything you experience during your Breathwork & Emotional Release session is meant to be released—without clinging to it or analyzing it. Letting go reminds you that you are free to move and detach from anything that holds you back.
Relaxation
Your body can only truly dive deep when it is completely relaxed. When you let go, your breath flows as it should, and energies can move freely. Your body receives the signal that everything is okay, allowing you to go deeper.
Allowing
Allow yourself to accept everything that arises during your Breathwork & Emotional Release session. The only exception is anything that could harm you or others. Otherwise, free yourself from moral judgments and the concepts of “right” or “wrong.” You don’t have to perceive everything as good or beautiful—it’s about allowing whatever is present to be there so it can be released.
Expressing
This is closely related to allowing. Give yourself permission to express everything that arises. This helps release the pent-up energy, making you feel lighter and enabling you to go deeper.
Contraindications for a Breathwork & Emotional Release Session
Please note that as a health practitioner, I only work with healthy individuals. If you do not feel well, I advise against participating in a Breathwork & Emotional Release session.
The following contraindications apply:
Severe cardiovascular issues
Serious illnesses, especially those affecting breathing
Recent surgeries or accidents
Organ failure or advanced, life-threatening diseases
Vascular diseases such as thrombosis or strokes
Mental health issues
Depression
Psychosis
Epilepsy
Pregnancy
Additional Health Concerns
There are also conditions that may be worsened by a Breathwork & Emotional Release session, such as:
Asthma
High blood pressure
Current illness symptoms, such as fever
Eye conditions (e.g., glaucoma)
Tinnitus
Use of strong medications, especially psychotropic drugs
Participation in a Breathwork & Emotional Release session is not necessarily excluded in these cases, but it requires special attention. We may need to apply alternative breathing techniques, such as gentle nasal breathing or pausing the breath, if your discomfort increases.
Conclusion
If you’re curious, why not give it a try? Personally, Breathwork & Emotional Release sessions have been incredibly beneficial for me, and I’m pretty sure I’ve saved myself quite a few therapy sessions as a result. A session is particularly suitable if you have difficulty accessing your emotions or if you often feel on the verge of losing control and need a release for your feelings.
In my opinion, everyone can benefit from this, as we live in a society where there is often little space for emotions. It is incredibly valuable and sustainably liberating to let the body take over - moving out of the head and into the body. That’s exactly what a Breathwork & Emotional Release session is all about.
